it's monday again. normally i hate mondays. but, the weather is so NICE that i simply cannot hate today. it's a beautiful 70-something, sunshiny day. sigh. love it.
nevertheless, it's time for an update.
made of honor was adorable. VERRRRRRRRRRRRY clique. if you think you're in for a twist......you are sadly mistaken. it's sheer cheese-ball-girly-sweetness. but, it is certainly a fun movie and getting to spend a little movie date time with my nikki is always a delight. short but sweet. that evening, some friends and i got together and played apples to apples. it was A HIT! (thank you ryan and kelly!!) we laughed our butts off and ate our weight in pizza. good times.
saturday consisted of breakfast with joanna & adie and then a whole day with my adie. lane was in south carolina all weekend so it was me and adie time. it was SO FUN! we went shopping........we walked around an art fair........we talked. it was amazing. then we parted ways (sniff) and jay & i had date nite. we went to a japanese restaurant and talked the night away. we ended the night sitting on his porch.
sunday was church but, no diner. i had to run and pick up my poor, burnt roommate from the airport. she is SO red! poor thing. tho, i wish i could have spent a weekend on the beach. after i dropped her sad self at home, i met back up with some peeps......watched the rangers lose (ARGHHHH) all while defending my love for them to a room full of DIE hard devils fans......and went back to that art fair to walk around. it was BEAUTIFUL out. far too beautiful to stay inside. jay and i went to diner at my parents and then BACK in the car with matthew to sit on vin's back porch and laugh for hours. i love them. finish off the weekend with an amazing chat with my boyfriend and you've got one happy chrissy.
i can say on this sunny monday, i have a lot of praying to do. there are a bunch of things on the horizon and i can see some cool change coming in the near future. as scared as i am for some of it, i welcome it with open arms if God is in it.
.....going to do a home workout tonite, shower and head over to see that swing/jazz band again! happy cinco de mayo?? (ehhhhhhhhhh)
